Community Church of the Nazarene Spring 2009 News		The Community Church of the Nazarene welcomes the Cunningham's to the church as our new pastoral family. Jim, Cindy, Jamison, Donovan, Micheala and Branaghan hail from Las Vegas, Nevada where Jim served on staff at the Las Vegas Church of the Nazarene.  Jim was ordained in May of 2008 and is wrapping up his degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Education.  They have been called back to Sedona to pastor the church and oversee the daily operations of the Village Christian School.* Pastor Jim's parents founded the Village of Oak Creek Church of the Nazarene in 1983, while Cindy's parents were pastoring at the Baptist church in West Sedona.  Jim and Cindy were married in 1985 at L'Auberge de Sedona (and have the distinction of being the first wedding at that site).  As a young married couple they were also founding members of the Nazarene church in the Village of Oak Creek where, coincidentally, Jim preached for the first time. *Village Christian School is a day school for infants and preschoolers six weeks through age five.
