The youth of our community are very important to Village Community Church. We have established a youth program that focuses on the needs of teens today, and provides a safe environment for them to know and grow in Christ. The youth meet on Thursday evenings, beginning at 6:30pm with GIRLz R.O.C.K. (Relying On Christ the King) a ministry that deals specifically with teenage girl issues. It is a hands-on, activity based program that allows teenage girls to talk with each other and the leaders as they work on various projects. Immediately following GIRLz R.O.C.K. at 7:30pm is the TEENz R.O.C.K. program for both boys and girls. Led by Josh and Mindy Maxwell, it is an atmosphere where the kids can worship God freely, learn from God's Word about topics that are relevant to their lives and have a lot of fun as they grow healthy relationships with other Christian youth. |
